Overview
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is a state agency specializing in both the issuance of hunting/fishing licenses and the conservation of wildlife within Tennessee.
Objective
TWRA approached Horton Group with the goal of designing a custom video subscription platform. Unlike other government agencies that rely largely on tax funding, TWRA raises the majority of their operation costs. The platform would serve premium content as a revenue generating service, fueling TWRA’s conservation practices in the state.
Solution
Horton built the platform using the MEAN Stack and Ionic framework to process high traffic volumes and video streaming. In addition to scalable bandwidth, TWRA.tv handles payment processing and subscription data and offers a separate subscription plan for producers, who benefit from a fully functional profile and channel.
